CommitteesCoordinating Committee
The Coordinating Committee serves as a joint committee for the Bridge Program and the Centre for Health and Environmental Research. It includes all faculty mentors, fellows,staff and a member of the External Advisory Committe, and meets annually.
It is responsible for the overall management of the programs, admissions policies, establishing and maintaining program requirements, and recruitment of fellows and public and private sector partners. The Program directors, associate directors, and staff are responsible for day-to-day administration, and report to the Coordinating Committee.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee serves as a joint advisory committee for the Bridge Program and the Centre for Health and Environmental Research (CHER). It meets to guide the operation of the Program between meetings of the Coordinating Committee.
Members include both Program directors, other faculty mentors, including the Associate Directors from each of the three Bridge areas and two representatives of the fellows (one from the incoming class the other from a previous year's. One rep will be a Masters fellow, the other will be a PhD).

Admissions and Progress Committee
The Admission and Progress Committee includes a minimum of three faculty members (one representing each of the three core areas), a practitioner with a faculty appointment, and a representative of the fellows.
It meets shortly after the Admissions Deadline to review applications to the Program. It also meets in May to review the Annual Progress Reports of current fellows, and to consider any requests for extension of fellowship funding by current students.

Evaluation Committee
The Evaluation Committee is comprised of one faculty member and a representative of the fellows.
The Committee will meet with the fellows at least twice per year (once at the end of each term) to discuss and document any problems with and successes of the program. It will also review course evaluations, and make recommendations to the Coordinating and Executive Committees, and where appropriate, to individual faculty mentors, about means to improve the Program.

External Advisory Committee
The External Advisory Committee includes representatives of internship settings, agencies likely to use research results, and collaborating research institutions. It provides advice on the strategic direction of the program, the utility of research programs, the value of student contributions in research internships, and the knowledge, skills and abilities of graduates.
